Hello Old Friend

It would be an understatement to say that it is difficult for me to dedicate any significant amount of time to staying in front of a screen in a world that is filled with so much more beyond that of technology. That is my excuse for not having posted anything over the past year, and as much as I deplore making excuses I will take full responsibility for being absent to those who are geographically distant from me. Those who know me personally are aware that my lack of presence on social media and the internet does not reflect an antisocial disposition, but rather a genuine contentment in making a connection with those who I can look in the eye and say "hello." For the friends and family who I do not see on a regular basis: I constantly look forward to seeing your smiling face. I do not perceive the time that passes between our acquaintance as a distancing agent in our relationship. For me this time is able to serve as a sort of active ingredient in a fermentation that eliminates any stale or negative energy. The result is a re-ignition of recognition regarding the importance that we have had in one another's lives, and rightfully so. Regardless of this sentiment I still feel the need–and know that others feel the desire–to share a few photos from my life over the past year.
